At a glance
Born in Shiraz in 1955, Nassrin Ranjbar Irani studied Persian language and literature. She has lived in Hamburg since 1987 and completed a doctorate in Germany on the development of modern Persian poetry.
Her publicly documented work encompasses poetry, short fiction, literary scholarship, readings, and the teaching of Persian literature.
